Over time, however, the packs can dry out. Many players either throw them away too early or try to add water directly to the pack. This can over-saturate the pack and may cause reeds to become too wet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe BandSpec Humidity Pack Floater provides a safer and more controlled way to recondition dried humidity packs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSimply place a small amount of clean water in an airtight container, place the Floater on the water, then place the dried humidity pack on top of the Floater. The pack must not touch the water. Once the container is sealed, moisture vapour slowly rises through the holes in the Floater and is absorbed by the humidity pack.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a slow, gentle process. There is no need to rush it.
